Excitement and Delights..

I can say that my summer vacation is kinda short for I have my attachments in my school. Those are the unsigned important documents and definitely, the yearbook. Yearbook seems to be hard to accomplish for we rarely have meetings. I bet staffers are enjoying their summer outing right now and some are busy for their college plans.

How about me? Well, my decision is fixed, I'll gonna study in Velez College and take BS Medical Technology. I'm relieved for my load became lighter for our principal already signed my certificate of good moral character and my report card. Definitely, I'm ready for next week's enrollment and I'm absolutely excited for it.

I wonder what will college life be. I'm thinking what will be the look of my school. Well, I haven't toured the entire school. I was just until the lobby and it's registrar's office. Well it's outside appearance doesn't look so good for it's an old building but I think it's nice inside. I'm thinking about the way my college life would be. Who would be my friends? What kind of persons are they? And above all, how's the challenge in college life in terms of studies. They say that it's harder than in high school.

Well, if I attended SOEP in high school. I joined SOEP, the world wide web version through the fan page of Velez College. I met my future classmates and I indeed, I made friends to them. At least I know some of them before the school year starts.

I also visited Velez' portal page.. http://veleztimes.com. I was glancing their activities last year. I took a look at their acquaintance party last year. I'll be attending that way too.. It's like JS Prom but with gowns..That made me more excited too.

Maybe, there will be unusual things that will happen in my college life that's quite different from my high school. But I must put up in my mind that my purpose in going there is for my dreams. That's indeed my stepping stone to be a doctor. I'll pray to God for blessings and guidance.

Summer 2010 creations

It's summer vacation already! I'm just doing the usual thing like the previous vacations.. Surfing the net..(for me it isn't surfing, it's swimming the net.. I've been doing it for almost 24 hours!), watching TV (if I like), chat (I'm not after strangers anymore ^_^), soundtrip, and of course texting (Welcome to the world of Sun Cellular!)..
The other stuff I'm doing is hanging out in Adobe Photoshop. I'm happy that the version I'm using is kinda progressive.. I'm currently using Adobe Photoshop CS2. I discovered a lot of techniques in styling pics. First I'm not suffering in Lasso tools anymore. I explored the use of clone stamp. I didn't somewhat remember if it's in version 7. I tried using it but an error box appear... (Use alt-click in defining a source). Due to my never-ending curiosity (blah..blah.blah), I browsed it in the internet about that tool. Well it's such a blessing.. At least I can patch some pics to other pictures... just like this one..

This is from Lady Gaga's snapshot of her latest music vid, Telephone... Well, Look at the silly transformation! I changed her face from Dionisia's using the clone stamp tool

Another one is coloring drawings using adobe photoshop. I went back to my interest in sketching but I don't have any coloring materials anymore. I eventually got to an idea that Adobe can be used in coloring it. Thank God, I have a scanner... Using this tutorial, http://www.melissaclifton.com/tutorial-lineart.html, I learned adding colors from my drawing

This is the original drawing..

and I colored it using Adobe Photoshop..

The Omega of my High School Life (100th post)

March 31,2010

This is my 100th post of my blog and this is so special...

When I woke up this morning, it felt something unusual. I wondered why wasn't I lazy in getting up and I just remember it's my awaited day. Yes, at before, I really want this to come but that time it became the reverse. I don't really want to end up my high school life. I don't want to be separated with my batchmates and above all, I don't want to leave my alma mater, the Minglanilla National Science High School.

I'm so happy that my mother beautified me for my special day. For me, she's the best hairstylist and make-up artist I ever had. I hope she'll do the same for me on my next graduation.

It's such a nice feeling that I wear my toga.. well, I say that this is the first time for I just wore my school uniform during the elementary graduation..

It seems that I'm in a cloud 9 as I receive my diploma and my awards. I'm so proud that I survived Minglanilla National Science High School for four years. I'm so happy that I'm destined to belong to Sentebale Batch.

Anyway, it was just that day that I knew the origin of the word Sentebale. I've known its meaning which is "FORGET ME NOT" and I heard that it's a British word. I just knew that's an African word pala..

We really resemble the name Sentebale. Among the batches of MNSHS, it's only the batch name that isn't science-related. At first, I'm wondering why are we given in that name. Yes, we're capable in that name for there are many first times in the history of MNSHS occured because of US.. Those may be good or bad. We really made a big mark on the history of MNSHS.

I'm reminiscing on the events of high school. It seems that's just a short time but a lot of things happened. Assignments, Projects, Tests, Achievements, High School Crushes,... a lot of those aspects happened in 4 years.

Though I'm leaving the institution, I'll never forget the things I got from MNSHS. It seems I'll gonna leave my heart in that institution. I'll make sure that everything I learned from that school is worth..

Hachiko: A Dog's Story

The day after tomorrow... it's not regarding a movie. Literally, the day after tomorrow is the graduation day. This morning, I expected that we'll gonna have the rehearsal at the venue but that didn't happened then. I found that time boring for we're just practicing the songs. I'm quite familiar at the tribute of songs already. Honestly, I spent those time sleeping, yawn.
I'm happy that I already received my toga. Good na naabutan ko pa yung mga maputi. At noonbreak, there's suddenly a film showing at our classroom. Well I'm a movie non-enthusiast but I'm just "forced" to watch the movie because of boredom. It was entitled "Hachiko: A Dog's Story".

It seemed to be a miracle for I haven't slept while watching just what I did on the other films. I was quite attracted at the main character of the story which was Hachiko, the dog.
The film was about the loyalty of the dog with his master which is Professor Parker. Parker took the abandoned dog, Hachiko and they became bestfriends. Hachi would always accompany his master at the train station everyday and return every afternoon after work. Sadly, his master died one day at his work and never returned to the station. Despite of that Hachi still did his same routine for nine years hoping that his master would return until he died.

I found the film so touching and it made me cry while watching. Actually, it bought me back of my dog, Buchoy. It's opposite for he went ahead of me. His routine is that he always greet me everytime I'm home until he got a peculiar illness. He still greet me even though he's weak until he died. T_T I swore that I'll never raise a dog anymore.
Well, back to the film. It seems that I read that story already maybe on my elementary years. I found out that it's based on a real life story of a Japanese dog of the same name Hachiko. The same scenario as the film but the dog accompanied his master at Shibuya Station in Japan.
I conclude that a dog is really a man's bestfriend. It seems that it's rare for cats to do that.. peace yo \m/

11th Graduation Exercises (4 days to go)

It's another great weekend for me. Yesterday, I finally found the site for our graduation at Inmaculate Heart of Mary grounds. We did our graduation rehearsals there.
It's 4 days already and it's getting near and near. Others say that they already feel the essence of the graduation. Me? Honestly, not yet. I'll get that feeling if I will already have my toga. I will claim my toga this monday.. Well, ganito ang napapala sa mga late comers.. ahahaha..
I love our graduation song. I wonder if we will goona shed tears in that song. Actually it's jolly. It's title is "Aint no mountain high" and I found it fun in practicing that yesterday. The steppings are really fun. Others might not call it an action song anymore.. They might say that it is a DANCE. We even adopted some steppings from kabanhawan.

The song of looking back is "Whenever you remember" by Carrie Underwood. It's a "sentimental" and heart-warming song. It makes me reminisce on what we had done in our alma matter and in our high school life. Our song for the parents is "Perfect Fan" by the Backstreet boys. I heard that song in the previous batches in their graduation practice without any knowledge that the one who sung it is my favorite boy band. Yeah, I just knew it just a week ago.
Our song for the teachers is "Do I make you proud" by Taylor Hicks. I heard it during the education week as the IV-Uranium presented it. I love the song. I haven't memorized the second stanza yet, my gosh..
Tomorrow, I'll have a "despedida" party with my friends. I'm excited for it.

We are the world

I've been idolizing late Michael Jackson. I'm amazed with his music. Until now, I'm still listening his songs. It seems that there's nothing a day that I don't hear any song of Michael Jackson.
"We are the world" the 2010 version has been famous in school nowadays. I often heard my batchmates singing to that song.
For I am an avid Jackson fan, of course I know that song. It's a song composed by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie last 1985 intended for Africa. Now, it's revived by modern artists and it's for the victims of Haiti.
Honestly, I just watched the video of the Haiti version and for the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the song. I never watched it for matagal na akong hindi nakapagnet. I just used to sing with my classmates.
I watched the video and I'm impressed the same way as the original version.. I'm touched for Michael Jackson is still included in the video.

9 days to go for sentebale's special day

It seems that the start of the journey was just yesterday. We've made a lot of memories of each other for four years already that could be good or bad. We indeed marked unique things on our school. That made us unforgetable or what we call SENTEBALE.
Wew, there are 9 days left for what we call our most special day. I don't wanna call these the "last" or "farewell". I believe that there are no goodbyes. I just want to call this a special day because it commemorates one of our achievement in our life. It's a proof that we survived. See we made it for four years with each others. We survived the several tests and we made it all.

Our chairs are piled up already, we're working out on our clearance, and we're having our graduation practice already. Yeah, the journey's ending. Fellow sentebalians, no goodbyes, walang limutan hah..
